Privacy, in plain language.
Effective July 12, 2026
The short version: we collect what the product needs to work, nothing more. No third-party ad trackers, no cookies for tracking, and we never sell your data. Every email we send has a way out.
What we collect
- Your account. Sign-in runs on your email through vyan.io, our identity service. There is no password to store because we never create one.
- Your field data. The doors, territories, knock outcomes, notes, and appointments your crew logs belong to your account. We store them so your map syncs across devices.
- Verified-knock location. If a rep has location on, a knock stores the GPS fix taken at log time. It is the rep's own proof of work first, the crew's signal second. Location permission is never requested by us; the app only uses it if it is already granted, and knocks log fine without it.
- Storm alert signups. The email and zip you give us at /storm, used only to send that alert. Signups lapse on their own after about six months of quiet weather.
- Aggregate telemetry. First-party counts (page views, knocks logged) with no cookies and no cross-site anything, so we can see whether the product works.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your data. To anyone, for anything.
- Run third-party advertising trackers or tracking cookies.
- Email you without a working unsubscribe.
- Use your crew's field data for anything except serving your account.
Homeowner data and the consent gate
Door enrichment (owner name, property facts, contact signals) comes from licensed property-data providers, is shown only to your crew inside your account, and carries a do-not-call flag that the product enforces. Enrichment identifies and prioritizes; it does not dial. You are responsible for using contact data lawfully in your market.
Who processes data for us
Cloudflare (hosting and storage), Resend (email delivery), Stripe via vyan.io (payments; we never see card numbers), Storm Stream (weather data), and OpenStreetMap Nominatim (address lookup). Each receives only what its job needs.
Your controls
- Unsubscribe from any alert with the link in the email itself.
- Export your field data any time (CSV, in the app).
- Ask for your account and its data to be deleted: email the founder and it is handled by a person, not a queue.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date above changes and the change is described here in the same plain language.
